Description
Investigation Midway considered possible misconduct relating to an allegation that a councillor threatened to pursue legal and/or other action against any elected members of the Council to influence how they voted on, and/or participated in, a motion before Council.
The investigation found that the councillor was not motivated by an intention to influence voting or participation, but their conduct was open to be perceived as an attempt to affect the probity of the functions of public officers and that the councillor displayed a lack of judgment.
